NEEDLE POINT AS A HOBBY

In spite of her arguments to the contrary, this seems badly timed. Needlepoint would seem to be a luxury item, for leisure hours. However, this may be a book needed in the background reference shelf of needlework. The text is a blend of historical material -- running throughout the book, with the first half of each chapter given to it. Then in each chapter, the last half presents a step by step analysis of successive stitches, patterns, etc.
