KIRKUS REVIEW

Mr. Red has everything red--beard, shirt, barn, even his animals. One night a whirlwind mixes everything up and Mr. Red finds animals with coats of many colors--white, gray, black and gold--instead of red. He parades them to Mr. White's where he exchanges his whites for gold, then repeats the procedure at Mr. Gray's and Mr. Black's. Who wants all gold animals? Mr. Gold, whom he finds the next morning at the bottom of the hill for the stock exchange. Arbitrary colors in a meaningless windjammer.
