THE WONDER CAT

This is a narrow, good-looking book illustrated by Aldren A. Watson. In Tuniin lived Halls ben sheer, whose mother feared the djinns. They had been very rich but all had gone against them, when along came a black cat with five white hairs under her chin, whom Balls insisted on calling Good Luck. She turns out to be a great scorpion hunter and through various ways, she does revive the family luck.
