Reported originally in the November 1st bulletin when scheduled for January publication -- as follows: ""No sparks, but a pleasingly mild story of children versus parents as Wincy, 1b, and Angus, 9, return to England after three years of evacuation in America, and find Oxford, their Professor father, their helpless-in-the-household mother, all fairly stuffy. Wincy and Angus introduce American slang, horrify and educate their elders, give them an idea of parental participation in family life, and of behaviour as being something beyond Nannie and the nursery. Professor Turner warms up quickly to life with his children, studies modern psychology and applies it to good effect at home and in his classes, and becomes the new Warden of Oxford. The children adapt back again to England, particularly as Wincy finds English Francis more to her liking than American Hank. Homey.
