THE HOUSE OF PERKINS

Here are some more of the adventures and misadventures of the 9-year-old hero of Perkins the Brain (1963). This set deals with Perkins' problems concerning a grounded treehouse. There is some repetition from the first book, as for instance, the sobriquets attached to each member of his gang. On the whole Perkins seems to be running out of funny things to do; perhaps a little aging is indicated.
