MRS. POPOVER GOES TO THE ZOO

A jaunt to the zoo with forgetful Mrs. Popover, the cookie-baking friend of all the neighborhood children, will amuse the picture book clan. The jolly lady's attempt to transport two dozen children by bus ends in disorder; she manages to get twenty there but gradually loses all of them along the route. The bright colored illustrations are lively and refreshing; with a sense of humor and design, the artist has captured the mood of the tale.
