THE FIRST AND LAST WORD ON FISH COOKERY

One of those enormous conglomerates with advice and lists and charts stressing selection, preservation, and treatment of fish and shellfish. The recipes are from here, there, and everywhere, mainly of the guest-dish variety. Most are grouped by cooking method, although there are sections about salads, sandwiches, loaves, etc. Dan Morris has written a brace of fishing books, and one wishes more were said about the current popular doubts concerning the purity of the product. A mixed kettle.
