KIRKUS REVIEW

A pleasant cross-country tour of eighteen of the finest courses (that ""conspiracy of man and nature"") from the Dunes, the toughest, to Merion, the easiest. Jenkins' casual commentary covers everything from the cushy touches in the locker rooms to the scenic attractions up and over, to the history of the course, membership, tournament play held there, and a nice spotting of remarks made by pros who have competed there.... The book which will have 37 color photographs, 18 drawings, should be a cinch par for the home Master-- in fact a de luxe gift item.
