KIRKUS REVIEW

The answer as far as we're concerned is no. But not even Cohen's barely concealed distaste for raking over the same ground once again can save us from another round up of Von Daniken & Co. theories concerning the Nazca figures of Peru, genetic manipulation, and the possibility that Ezekiel's wheels were really spaceships and the miracle of Fatima a UFO. Cohen covers the ground faster than a celestial drag racer and entertains such ideas only long enough to rebut them. . . ""because the thought is a nice one does not make it so."" Where pressure to deal with these questions at all is irresistible, Cohen's dogged, earthbound skepticism may have a place.
