KIRKUS REVIEW

In rich panoramas dominated by the blue of moonlight on snow and speckled with failing white flakes, nocturnal animals (owl, raccoon, fox, weasel) stalk one another or seek shelter in an unspecified locale that could be northern California. The quiet, interpretive text adds little; the real message here is nature's beauty. Not essential, but attractive.
