KIRKUS REVIEW

California again with the mystifying, discreet Baron Von Kaz dragged into murder against his will on the night of his wedding. A crackpot pseudo-religious society, bleeding the public (and killing them off) is the root of the evil, and four of its heads are involved. Another attempt, another murder, the Baron here and there and everywhere to the confusion of his young bride and the vindication of an attractive young couple at stake. A little more discursive than most, but some farce, some bawdery and a vertiginous pace.
