TEED OFF

Grumpy, fesity, trouble-mongering Dave Hill (one of the top money-earners on the pro golfer's circuit) sounds off about the way the tour is run, the way the pros behave--too much like prima donnas--golf course architects, cheating, touring caddies, and all the other juicy stuff that armchair tournament watchers want to hear. In addition, he gives quickie profiles of the personalities on the tour (Johnny Miller: ""Golf's answer to Jack Armstrong""), one chapter of useful fine points (""the legs drive toward the target and drop the club into 'the slot'--good hitting position""), and tidbits on hustlers who follow the tour. An unafraid look inside the touring circuit from an outspoken, entertaining pro.
