CAM JANSEN AND THE MYSTERY OF THE TELEVISION DOG

Cam Jansen and her camera mind are in top form for this bit of detection, which involves tracing the perpetrator of a puppy switch. Cam, her friend Eric, and Eric's younger twin sisters are in line to meet Poochie the TV dog when the man just ahead of them creates a fracas with some dog biscuits and his own dog, Cloudy, a Poochie lookalike. When the dust settles Poochie and the man are gone; and though Poochie's trainer has no interest in holding on to Cloudy, Cam follows the dog home, spots the dognapper inside, and cleverly deploys her companions so that Poochie is retrieved and the man arrested. Painted spots on Cloudy and a red wig on the man don't fool Cam for long, as she CLICKs and thinks her way to a quick solution.
