THE DINOSAUR PRINCESS And Other Prehistoric Riddles

By

Pub Date: April 15th, 1988
Publisher: Holiday House

An uneven collection of dinosaur and cave-dweller riddles, mostly original, one to a page with cartoony, relatively elaborate pen-and-ink drawings between question and answer. Some fall flat, but fans will be intrigued to learn that ""woolly"" mammoths were ancestors of the ""polyester"" mammoth, that ""dino-snores"" kept cave-people awake at night, that no one would play with Brontous because he was a ""saur loser,"" and that dinosaur fossils ""don't have the guts"" to leave the museum. Half the size of Heck's Dinosaur Riddles (1982), but sure to be popular.
