The explanations are likely to satisfy only a very Young or torpid child; for others they will raise as many questions as they answer: Lightning. ""How does it get there? Lightning is really giant sparks of electricity. Electricity shoots through a storm cloud..."" How does it get there? In the long sequence of weather books, this is a whistle stop, worth noticing only if you need another pause between evocation and elucidation.
