Here's a photographic recreation of the '68 presidential conventions at Miami Beach and Chicago and all the attendant hoopla, hubbub, and heartache. Some of the pictures are worth a thousand words, but for good measure Duncan adds a peppy, personalized commentary (""Today, Richard Milhous Nixon, you're in my viewfinder. . . let's see you escape!"") that's not always worthy of the photos. The emphases seem somewhat arbitrary, the inclusion of shots from the amputee and in-traction ward of Great Lakes naval hospital questionable, but there's no doubt that Duncan wields a wicked camera.
