RETREAT FROM OBLIVION

A not quite pulled-together novel about young marrieds with a certain amount of conjugal interchange, a great deal of brawling, and some social-minded undertones. Done in the modern manner, but doesn't quite come off. Two couples, whose matrimonial wires become entangled, and another couple who also become involved. There is good dialogue but the story is a bit too pat, though readable enough. Rentals chiefly.
