KIRKUS REVIEW

An account of the transporting of persons and arms via small fishing craft from the Shetland islands to Norway during the last war. Portraits of heroic, individualistic seamen, descendants of Vikings, who were the missions's personnel are rock solid in this simple, forthright tale that rouses the emotions on the facts alone. Written with the conscience to avoid irresponsible sensationalism, this ""modern saga"" should find a wide market.
