THE CRIMINAL CAREER OF VINEGAR TOM

Slinky thief by night-- lazy, lulling cat by day, Vinegar Tom relished his double life on Blueberry Street. After a close call with Bobbies-- he's an English eline--and dogs, the cat gives up sneaky ways and becomes the best mouser around. Cartooned illustrations vary in quality; some are amusing, while many are on a par with stereotyped newspaper funnies. Executed in bright blue, red, yellow and green. More unusual and interesting cats have capered through print recently.
