KIRKUS REVIEW

I like this series of might be true stories of young anamils, for there is nothing sentimental about them, and while they are done in story form they keep close enough to factual and authentic background to serve as nature studies. This baby chipmunk spent one season as a pet in a cage, but eventually escaped to a free life and went back to his old quarters where he found a mate. Sharon Stearns has made nice pictures, reproduced in soft tints.
