Simple, indeed: pre-marital sex desecrates the temple of the living God; vows are a necessity; vigorous physical exercise is the solution for controlling sexual urges; birth control and abortion are dubious and contraception is bound to fail anyway if it runs counter to the will of God; homosexuality is a perversion which caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Advice like this, stressing obedience and chastity, was outdated 25 years ago. Today it is almost pernicious.
