I KNOW A GIRAFFE

A pleasant spoof in words and pictures that plays on the child's instant nonsense response to the what-if question. The giraffe has no neck and, after playing around with that, the author goes on to a white Persian cat much bigger than a person and then a bus--which ""runs"" on legs, etc. The pictures are happily balmy and reflect exactly the mild madnesses suggested in the text in a style that brings to mind Dr. Seuss--if the Dr. were a better draftsman. Not much but not bad.
