THE PSYCHIC WORLD OF CALIFORNIA by David St. Clair

THE PSYCHIC WORLD OF CALIFORNIA

By

Pub Date: June 2nd, 1972
Publisher: Doubleday

Moving from north to south and sticking strictly to one-dimensional interviews, St. Clair chats with all manner and shape of California psychics including Mrs. Patricia Diegel of Sacramento who arrived there via spaceship from the planet Mizar, Mt. Shasta's Nola Van Valet whose vibes gave him ""those 'goose bumps' that I always get when I'm in the presence of a powerful medium,"" Monterey's healing Reverend Harold G. Plume who possesses X-ray eyes along with that certain touch, astral guide Carroll Righter who lives in a pink Hollywood Hills mansion and has served as horoscoper to stars like Gable and Monroe, and black spiritual consultant Ernesto Montgomery who claims to have predicted the Sharon Tate murders and three months before any arrests psyched out the name ""Charley Mansoon"" while in a ""transic"" state (N.B., Montgomery currently foresees California's destruction by earthquakes and fires on April 22, 1972). This has a clairvoyant cast of thousands, an entertaining aura, and St. Clair firmly establishes St. Clair as the quidnunc of coastal parapsychology.
