KIRKUS REVIEW

A newcomer in the field (to us at least) with an adroit and original twist to a multiple murder yarn. The setting, a Jersey suburb; the main characters- both as corpses and suspects- close neighbors with surface congeniality (and hidden antagonisms). While the ultimate solution is somewhat contrived, the motive unconvincing, the process of development makes holding reading. Local police and a journalist who is designated as a victim unravel the threads and come up with the answer.
