KIRKUS REVIEW

The Rio Kid, three years a fugitive in Mexico, wanted for the killing of an Arizona sheriff, crosses the border into Texas and there is mistakenly identified twice... and in the characters he is forced to assume, within 48 hours clears with his quick mind and roaring guns unmasks, and kills, or turns over to the law, the top men in a rustling gang. A Texas Ranger then gives him ten minutes to head for freedom again. Good.
