Very good grade story of West Texas, in the Big Bend region. Jim Marble is accused of shooting his step-father and escapes into Mexico. Then when things simmer down, he returns, playing the part of a stranger tough guy, outsmarts the local bad boy, and gets the confession, the range and the girl.
