KIRKUS REVIEW

This volume of the addresses of all preceding presidents, along with a few additional documents- the Declaration of Independence- Act of Confederation- Constitution, will appear on Inauguration Day. Each address is prefaced by a medallion photograph of the president, and a few words on the state of the nation and the world at the time of his assumption of office. There are marginal notes, interpretations, amplifications accompanying the text of each speech, strengthening their significance for the modern reader. Further comment seems unnecessary.
