We have seen the four titles in the left hand column, representative of the welcome reissue of these seven long time favorite Dean Rag Books from England. Back again with the old sturdy quality of color and texture. None in this country have displaced them in the hearts of those who grew up knowing them as first books. The sizes are comfortably right for small hands, -approximately 6 x 8 for the $.75 titles, and 7 x 9 for the $1.50 titles, with 8 pages of pictures and 14 pages of pictures respectively. Nice friendly drawings, recognizable for identification with beginning talkers; good color work, sturdy, washable fabric, which will withstand lots of wear and tear. These need no introduction to old timers in the trade; newcomers can count on them for a new crop of babies and mothers.
