KIRKUS REVIEW

Cloudy, a little cat ""the color of thunder and rain,"" explores the fields, the garden, and the weather around her English farmland home. She is an evanescent form that melds with the landscape or is half-concealed in the cloud of dust in which she blissfully rolls, or in the old gray mop of a dog that she cuddles up to on the sofa. Children will enjoy spotting this winsome, elusive puss in King's beautifully crafted paintings, which evoke the many pleasures of a country cat's world.
