Since eighty percent of the Epistles are taken from St. Paul this book can be a helpful guide to a new appreciation of the thought of the Apostle to the Gentiles. The misinterpretation to which phrases from St. Paul have been subjected has been reason enough for clerics as well as laity to read meanings into St. Paul carefully. Yet, the thoughts of St. Paul are among the more fruitful sources for Christian living of our times. Those seriously interested in an interpretation of the Epistles included in the Mass each Sunday will be pleased to have this analysis by a serious student of Scripture.
