KIRKUS REVIEW

The distaff side knitting up the problem of murders in Martin's Hook, in upper New York, as landscape gardener Barbara, certain her love is unrequited, is focal information point for their solution. Poison and throat slashing, a limited group of suspects, and the local police do a good job of investigation. Good garden talk, pleasant dialog, thoroughly feminine in appeal.
