All that was left of Bella Ingram was her upper plate and the spectacles she couldn't get around without. Left behind was a rather relieved widower and all that money. Her relatives -- a delightfully unattractive group of scroungers -- weren't going to sit still for that and their prodding gets Los Angeles' Spanish- speaking Lt. Mendoza on the job he won't drop when the plot doesn't go their way. ell-hung double frame exposed.
