MARK OF MURDER

By

Publisher: Morrow

There's a frightening resemblance to the New York crime wave-and the earlier Boston situation in this gory tale of a hate killer who slashes his victims with a jagged blade. Whether or not this multiple murder pattern links in with the shooting of an abortionist and the simulated accident to a cop in homicide is the preoccupation of Mendoza of the L.A.P.D. Once again he plays his hunches and wins. Fast moving, intricately plotted, this holds attention to the end.
