KIRKUS REVIEW

Lieutenant Luis Mendoza is the Gideon of the Los Angeles police force and once again there are many entries on this blotter: the railroad track decapitation of a supermarket employee; the instant uplift of a Temple ""minister""; the knife murder of a girl; but primarily the victimization of an elderly couple by a very practical nurse who seems to have taken in and done in thirty-eight old folks. . . . One of the better ones in this documentary series recorded with likable precision.
