Mrs. Creasey with another one of her rotary-blended procedurals featuring Luis Mendoza and his associates coping with a mother's boy on drugs and worse yet -- set up as a seller; the two very young children who were missing and are strangled; a widow on the sauce; the brutal assault of patrolman Logan; the three-way disposition of a doctor, his wife and his receptionist; etc. Round and round and on and on in the form-ula she apparently has no reason to change.
