DEUCES WILD

Luis Mendoza -- you know him well after his 25 years with the LAPD -- finds that drugs leave their dirty white powder marks everywhere after a young girl dies, a minister is stabbed in his Mustang, and assorted heists take place -- a bank, a pharmacy, and worst of all the kidnapping of Mendoza's appealing twins. This of course makes the case more urgent for Mendoza than the many, many he has handled, even where it doesn't quite silence the mechanical click of the telex.
