THE GEOGRAPHY OF THE BIBLE

Geography is having an increasing fascination for Bible students as repeated archeological discoveries call attention to the land of the Bible. And here we have a book which ought to be enthusiastically received. It is written and compiled by Denis Baly who has spent many years in Bible lands and now writes of these fascinating places and people as only one can who knows them lovingly and well. The book is illustrated with 97 new photographs taken by the author who has sought to avoid repetition of the more familiar pictures usually to be found in Bible atlases. Though this is not a book of theology the author keeps before his reader the essential truth that this is ""a picture of the stage whereon the history of our salvation had its place,"" and the subject of the sentence is always the God who is the Father of us all. A most valuable book for all Bible students, all clergy, all church schools.
