THE LITTLE KNIGHT'S DRAGON

A brave knight's son would rather shoot marbles than dragons. No wonder the kingdom is aghast when the little knight takes up the challenge of the fiery dragon who holds the little princess a prisoner. Equipped with only a pocketful of marbles he sets out in great confidence. All kindred spirits on this side of the page will nod knowingly when the great green dragon is suddenly entranced by these round colorful objects. After a friendly tame game, he accompanies the children back to the castle where he pursues his new hobby in the summer, and provides central heating in the winter. In the typical Trez tradition, this mixture of sense and nonsense illustrated in jaunty four color pictures a la The Magic Paintbox, Le Petit Chien and Fifi enchant and delight to the point of complete satisfaction.
