THE THREE LITTLE MERMAIDS

The depths of the ridiculous. Three little mermaids sing so screechingly that an ocean liner's passengers abandon ship, whereupon the mermaids rescue a little girl still aboard and pull her on a life preserver to a desert island where they all have a fine time until the little girl gets homesick whereupon a friendly dolphin offers her a ride until he is pursued by sharks whereupon he flees and a school of salmon bear her to land where the mermaids present her with a pearl necklace and weep until they arrive home to find thirteen baby sisters waiting to play. Gulp.
