Included in this volume are 200 true stories of men and women who have found above nationalism a brotherhood that includes all mankind. Its compilation was begun during the war by Vera Brittain and her husband George Catlin in England, and at the end of World War II they found that Gert Shindler in Germany and Devere Allen in America had been working on the same idea. They joined forces and the result is this book. The stories all show how ""man's humanity to man"" can and does overcome nationalistic allegiances and how kindliness and Christian love know no ""enemies"". While the compilers exhibit their pacifist ""slant"", the stories are usable by all Christians for illustrative purposes.
