The third in this excellent series (Astronomy and Plastics already covered)- excellent ""first books"" for the uninitiate who wants intelligent information. All of us will know people who own their own planes, and should know at least the basic principles of flight, construction, design, what the main instruments mean, an elementary idea of how a plane is flown, and something of modern meterology, navigation, etc. Mere's about as much as the average layman can absorb.
