THE KOMODO DRAGON'S JEWELS

By

Pub Date: April 28th, 1975
Publisher: Macmillan

All unaware of the ruckus he's causing, a grinning Komodo dragon is mistaken for cruise ship passenger Miss Mildew (they do look amazingly alike) and gets a close-up look at the bright lights of the mainland that he mistakes for sparkling jewels. Of course the captain and fellow passengers eventually realize that there's a giant lizard on board and react with the usual programmed panic. But though the itinerary is predictable, this oblivious dragon and his old lady look-alike are refreshing easy reading companions.
