AMBER WELLINGTON, DAREDEVIL

A summer mystery set in Alabama during the '40's, about Amber and her friends in the otherwise all male Daredevil Club and how they get the goods on the red-haired stranger they've suspected all along of murdering miserly old Larnie and taking the money that Joel, head Daredevil and Amber's hero, had seen stuffed into tins in Larnie's shack. Glaser's southern dialect, tape recorder accurate but totally colorless and dead, adds only regional interest (if that) to a mighty unremarkable yarn.
