In contradistinction to Lester, a slob with a great deal of charisma, we don't have anything at all to say about this except to vaguely wonder whether Merv and Dick and John will bless the beds that Les lies on. He's the Great Man on an ""open-end formula"" program and when first seen, he's ""carrying through beautifully"" the night his son dies of an overdose of drugs -- even ending the show with an attack against the Governor. Later, however, he pursues his other open-ended activities with two girls in a swinging session which is unfortunately taped. . . and then there's Jeri, his substitute wife for Grace who's a bitch. . . and then there's Grace who winds up with all the evidence she needs for the rest of their lives. . . . Rate it like your new color console: overall picture quality fair; convergence frequent; quick warm-up; and as for those ugly blotches (particularly after Grace murders a man with an ice pick), they fade out fast.
