KIRKUS REVIEW

That ole devil jealousy on the basketball courts marks this latest by the author of Pivot Man Roger Burris, star athlete on the Broadhurst team, is taken aback when his position of forward is challenged by a sophomore, Frank McIntosh. Roger, a senior, finds himself fading into the background, and not graciously. In fact it is the word on campus that Roger blackballed Frank from the honor society, the Lancers. Unable to best the skillful sophomore on the court, Roger is in despair until a showdown, and cards-on-the-table session brings out the best in both boys. Good basketball with a new twist.
