THE CUB BOOK

Cub means Scout, and this offers a large number of generally unrelated ideas for activities with almost no instructions: before a bike race, ""check over"" your bike; in order to whittle, ""hold knife firmly"" and away from yourself. There's no suggestion of what parts of the bike to check and how, no mention of what kind of wood or knife to say nothing of techniques. The inattention to detail extends to safety measures, which are almost entirely ignored. Most of these ideas can be found helpfully organized and fully explained elsewhere.
