Clarifies the possibilities in the field -- though written without any particular dash. The recently reported Charles Planck's Women With Wings was a history of women in aviation. This shows what the women of today -- and tomorrow -- can hope to do in the field. The book is about 99% vocational, and Meyer outlines briefly and factually the various jobs to be had, all financially rewarding. The Civil Air Patrol, girls as student pilots, teachers, radio operators, mechanics in the hangars. Secondly, positions in aircraft manufacturing, whether with needle, torch, wrench, micrometer, slide rule. Lastly, jobs in commercial aviation, stenographers, ""hello girls"", cooks.
