CHERRIES ARE RIPE

A family story laid in the Okanagan Valley (Canada) tells of the Poppys' efforts to find a permanent home. In a trailer they go cherry picking and meet a lady dowser, an immigrant boy, learn to ride horseback, and through new friends are at last successful in locating a place to live. There's regional material here which is of greater interest than the somewhat commonplace family.
