A small biographical portrait of a rain cloud takes it through a humanized life and gives the backstage view of a thunderstorm at work. As Nimbo grows, rapidly crossing three states in half a day there is the pre-thunderstorm breeze as it warns people of his coming, and an explanation of raindrop and electrical development. A noisy show follows over city and country and helps point up the social effects of a thunderstorm and the precautions to take.
