Dixie was considered ""weird"" as a child, a ""good guesser"" by her husband until he was convinced that she's a ""psychic empath."" She's also convinced everyone else on radio, TV and in the classes she gives. Everyone has the potential--it's just intuition--and you can develop it with all sorts of exercises. She does believe in psychometry but not in props (cards, tea leaves) and you're not to toy with automatic writing, seances and exorcisms, or medical cures (even if she does sponsor one psychic healer who made one of those malignant moles vanish). Most of this book is a primer--there are a few story fillers--and she also talks a lot of nonsense about aurvoyance, or your aura in color: ""Coral people are reasonably intelligent. If you don't mind inanity, you'll enjoy these people."" How will that sound in ACCUtron?
